be quiet! hails from Germany who specialise in PSU's, cases & cooling solutions. They have been around for over 20 years now and gear their products towards the premium end of the market. Their niche is in their name, they focus on offering acoustically pleasing solutions whilst maintaining reliability and compatibility. For these reasons they are very much so known for their fans as that is where they made a name for themselves so naturally it made sense for them to produce other products that contain fans, que cases and power supplies although technically their PSU presence does date back until 2003 but its only in the last decade the world has sat up and started to take note.
