Nvidia are an American tech company based in Silicon Valley in California and were founded back in 1993 making them a fairly new company in this industry compared to say Intel, AMD or Samsung.

They are known for making Graphics processing units (GPU’s) used in the manufacturer of Graphics cards whilst also producing graphics cards themselves. They also make tablets and are heavily involved with deep learning in order to pioneer AI development.

If you have had a high end customer PC or workstation in the past you may have already owned or own an Nvidia based graphics card as Nvidia (team Green) and AMD (Team Red) are really the only two options battling for graphics card supremacy.
