It's that busy time of year again for us here at UK Gaming Computers but we're stocked up and prepared for the massive increase in orders which we get during this festive period. To meet the increased demand throughout November & December we order stock in much higher quantities to make sure we aren't running out of anything! This in turn means we get better deals from our suppliers, deals which we pass on to the customer resulting in price drops across all our different ranges of PCs.

Prices are now guaranteed to not drop until the day Santa arrives, however we cannot guarantee that they won't go up in price so if you're waiting to order for Christmas, now is the time to get your order in!

We don't really advertise sale pricing in a traditional way, but instead just re-price our entire range with the lower component cost which means that the new, lower pricing has been applied to each system already so there's nothing else that you need to do other than place the order as normal.

Extended Returns & Order Advice

As the highest customer rated dedicated custom PC builder, our services are very much in demand at this time of year, meaning our already busy workload goes through the roof, which puts a significant strain on our resources. In previous years we have had to simply stop taking all orders to ensure that all orders already places were fulfilled by the big day, this is why we get our seasonal deal pricing live as early as possible and freeze pricing to make sure that ordering early doesn't mean you miss out on the best prices. For this reason, we strongly urge customers to places orders sooner rather than later.

We have also extended our returns policy to the 15th of January for any orders made after 24/11/23 so if you do want to return the PC for whatever reason, you still are able to after the Christmas break, in line with our standard returns policy.

Delivery Dates & Order Cut-offs

Here at UK Gaming Computers we sell two mains types of computers; "pre-built next day" systems that are off the shelf and cannot be customised (other than adding a swish set of peripherals), and fully custom bespoke built-to-order PCs which take time to assemble and test. For the latter there are strict cut-offs in place to ensure your order is ready to ship in time for a delivery before Christmas Day. The last day our courier will be delivering is the 22nd of December, meaning all orders need to leave our warehouse on the afternoon of the 21st, or the 20th if you're in an area of the country on a two-day delivery service.

Please be reminded that, being the last delivery day before Christmas, DPD will be exceptionally busy so if any problems arise on their end, they are unlikely to be resolved by Christmas Day.

Standard Build & Test Time with 16GB of RAM - Thursday 7th December by midday

Priority Build & Test Time with 16GB of RAM - Thursday 14th of December by midday

Standard Build & Test Time with 32GB of RAM - Wednesday 6th December by midday

Priority Build & Test Time with 32GB of RAM - Wednesday 13th of December by midday

All "Pre built next day systems" - Thursday 21st of December by midday

Please also be aware of additional build and test time required for some configurations, including additional RAM, overclocks and custom watercooling. Full details on your build & test time can be found here.

If you’ve left it too late then we do have increased stock of our Pre-Built PCs which are already built, tested and packaged and ready to ship. Our “Super Rush Job” build & test time is also available as normal but we fully expect it to be in high demand for last minute orders so do please call us before ordering an SRJ as we only take on one of these jobs at a time so we can devote our full attention to it.

Whilst we try our hardest to fulfil as many orders as possible, any systems ordered after any of these dates, whilst likely to be completed, are not guaranteed for a delivery before Christmas.

PCs are able to be collected up until Friday the 22nd which is our last working day before Santa arrives.

Christmas opening times

The 25/12/23, 26/12/23 and 1/1/24 is a bank holiday and we are formally closed between 27/12/23 and 29/12/23, whilst there will be skeletal staff on sales & tech support, no formal production will take place and will not count towards a build and test time although it is likely we will complete some builds in this time. DPD will be delivering between 28/12/23 and the 29/12/23 and so we will be able to ship out orders for deliveries on these dates. Normal service will resume on 2/1/24.
